Here are some of my favorite online resources.  I hope you find them useful!

31 Days to Better Practicing - This is a collection of articles originally written for students of piano, but is still very relevant to us as vocalist.  Good practice habits are good practice habits!

Central Music Direct - They are located in Phoenix and carry a wide variety of print music spanning many genres including rock, blues, country, sacred, classical, opera, jazz, folk, world, gypsy and others.  Their website also offers the option to print music right to your home printer.

Classical Vocal Repertoire - Glendower Jones has the largest selection of solo vocal sheet music in the USA and the only sheet music store you’ll ever need for classical music for solo voice. They have it all (opera, art songs, specialty numbers, new composers, rare music and old favorites) and almost everything is in stock right now. They even carry things that are otherwise out-of-print.  CVR has saved me many times when I was looking for a piece of music that can't be found anywhere else!

IMSLP -  International Music Score Library Project IMSLP believes that music should be something that is easily accessible for everyone. For this purpose they created a music library to provide music scores free of charge to anyone with internet access.  This means piece of music that is out of copyright can be found and printed for use.

IPA Source - IPA Source is the web's largest library of International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) transcriptions and literal translations of opera arias and art song texts.  I love this site as a resource to check for correct pronunciations and to find stable vowels.

Lied, Art Song and Choral Text Archive -  This is a collection of translations to nearly any and every art song or aria that you will ever sing.  This is a wonderful resource for double checking translations.

MusicNotes -

It is fun and easy to download sheet music.  They have every style of music available for purchase and printing - from blues, jazz, singer/songwriter and the very newest song on the radio!
